Marc Havener – Principal/Creative Producer

Mark HavenerMarc spent 10 years in Hollywood eating the type of craft service where they cut a papaya in half, scoop out the pulp and fill it with fresh berries. On those kinds of films he was able to observe a bounty of talent. Folks like Roger Deakins, George Clooney and Gore Verbenski. He spent most his time on the AD team, and was often directing hundreds of extras making sure they looked and acted like normal people in the background. See the full list on IMDB and ask him about the time Brian Grazier fired him.

Here is an example of when he gave his wife preferential treatment on the set of "13 Days."Here is an example of when he gave his wife preferential treatment on the set of “13 Days.” In between movie gigs, he honed his own skills making short films, and creating videos for various non-profit clients. Realizing that the Assistant Director path was the quickest way to working on other peoples projects for the next 30 years, he decided to relocate his family to the film-making mecca of Lawrence, USA to find the freedom to develop and create his own movies and cash in on some grandma-style babysitting. He also has managed to produce the country’s largest collection of antebellum curios.

Bryan Belknap – Producer/Screenwriter

people_brianEverything truly is bigger in Texas… except the film industry. That’s why Bryan moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Baylor University. He quickly established a living as a freelance writer, churning out movie and music reviews, magazine feature articles, values based video scripts — anything with a check attached.

These various projects helped him avoid working in the food services industry and allowed him to honestly claim the title of “professional writer” at parties. Bryan also learned how to work well with others and meet deadlines. These two skills led to higher profile gigs, including the infamous “Fantasy Pillow Fight” spot for FOX Sports.

After winning the inaugural Art Within Screenwriting Fellowship, his film career took off. Convolo Productions optioned his feature comedy A Dollar a Day and Accelerated Entertainment optioned his feature-length teen comedy Mr. Popularity. He was then hired by Lionsgate to co-write the feature comedy Church League for the Blue Collar Comedy guys. Bryan is currently developing animated television series for Radical Axis and writing a feature for Sony Provident.

Bryan joined the Resonate dossier in 2008 and provides the Los Angeles representation where he lives with his wife Jill and their son Cash. He likes Johnny Cash, wake-boarding, the Dallas Mavericks, Freaks and Geeks, and Dr. Pepper.
